Abstract

This article provides an overview of the main research work, the role and developmental timeline of the BG Institute for Work and Health (BGAG). The interdisciplinary approach taken by the institute is highlighted by a specific research project known as ?Quality in Prevention ? Effectiveness and Financial Viability of the Prevention Services of the German Social Accident Insurance Institutions?. The phases of the project, its aims, scope and methods are discussed.
