In 2005, 18 new "suitable measurement methods" were published by the bodies notified in accordance with the TRGS 402 technical rules for hazardous substances. The procedures provide a brief description of sampling and analysis methods and state the attainable limits of measurement. Comprehensive descriptions of these methods can be found in the BGIA folder on the measurement of hazardous substances, in the BG publication entitled "Von den Berufsgenossenschaften anerkannte Analysenverfahren zur Festsstellung der Konzentrationen krebserzeugender Arbeitsstoffe in der Luft in Arbeitsbereichen - Gesamtausgabe" (analysis methods recognized by the BGs for measurement of the concentration of carcinogenic working substances in workplace atmospheres (compendium), BGI 505, formerly ZH 1/120), and in the compendium entitled "Analytische Methoden zur Prüfung gesundheitsschädlicher Arbeitsstoffe, Luftanalysen" (analytical methods for the testing of harmful agents, air analyses), published by the German Research Foundation (DFG). |
