The ?Quality in Prevention? project deals with the effectiveness and financial viability of the services offered by the German social accident insurance institutions (BGs). It is important for the BGs to study whether the prevention services that they provide are actually implemented in the companies and if they lead to changes and improvements in occupational safety and health. When looking at the prevention work done by the associations such as rule-setting, consultation, training and research, it quickly becomes evident that these elements do not operate in isolation but rather they influence each other and the effects they produce. The services work in interaction with one another and have a joint effect in the company. In the Sub-Project ?Interaction between the prevention services offered by the German social accident insurance institutions?, these interactions were looked at in detail, as well as which services have the most influence or are influenced the most. Initially the question was whether strategic measures can be derived from such an analysis which can lead to more effective prevention work carried out by the BGs in companies. |
